| Location: | Central Canyamel is located in the extreme north-east of the island in the municipality of Capdepera. Although the village regularly lies dormant in winter, during the season this small place develops into a little pearl, which is mainly visited by families. The village has a fine sandy beach, framed on one side by the cliff. Two beach restaurants cater for the physical well-being and only a few large hotels disturb the tranquillity. From the beach with its mostly turquoise water, a narrow footpath leads to the caves of Arta. You should not miss a visit to these very beautiful dripstone caves. In the village you will find a small pedestrian zone with several supermarkets, bakeries, a few other shops, boutiques, a pharmacy and a bank branch with an ATM.
